Vaudeville was first staged in Boston in 1885. The old-time novelty acts, magicians, banjo players and baggy pants comics have taken their final bows and disappeared.

OR have they???

100 years later, Bob Widdop's professional career in the art of family entertainment began.

Bob is the proprietor of "B.B. Family Entertainment" that provides families, corporations and special events, festive entertainment ranging from closeup magic and circus arts to a comedy banjo emcee or bullwhip act.

B.B. has the ability to play to any size audiences from center ring to sidewalks and tablesides to hospital bedsides.

Since 1995, Bob is mostly known as "Nurse B.B.", founding supervisor and the first clown parody of a nurse for BIG APPLE CIRCUS CLOWN CARE tm at CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL BOSTON & HASBRO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL in Providence, Rhode Island, visiting thousands of patients, family, and hospital staff yearly.

Mr. Widdop is also a dynamic lecturer and educator, competent

Toastmaster and a certified Funeral Celebrant.
